Growing up, the humble tea bag was outlawed in our house - nothing but loose leaf tea would do for my Dad.
And being served over-milked tea bag water while out and about was always a bit of a drama.
Undeterred, it wasn't long until I subscribed to his way of thinking.
Back then, loose, whole leaf teas were much less available. However, the choice today is startling.
It's a sad state of affairs then that even with the tide of chain cafes here in the UK, the choice of tasty, correctly steeped tea is seriously lacking.
